The Rock Star Principals Join Forces with ASCD for “The Empowered Principal” Symposium

Jon and Nick are thrilled to partner with ASCD to be a part of “The Empowered Principal” symposium being held on April 21, 2021 and then available On-Demand until June 18, 2021. This unique professional development opportunity allows school leaders to “explore empowered principals in action. In this engaging, half-day event, you’ll learn how to lead more effectively, better manage your time, and inspire your team.” Virtual symposiums are an amazing way to participate in meaningful learning from the comfort of your own school/district at an incredible price point of only $49.

The Rock Star Principals’ session is called “Leading with the Heart While Developing the Mind:”

We all know that the world-wide pandemic has forced us to adapt and change the way we deliver instruction. As school leaders you’ve had to rethink instructional practices, learning environments and the overall wellness of your students, your teachers, and the families that you support. Join us as we learn from two instructional leaders who continue to lead with a social and emotional lens and learn how they’ve adapted teaching and learning to best support students and the family/caregivers that are supporting them at home. They will share their creative and flexible practices that helped maintain a strong family and community connection throughout the past year. You will leave with new innovative strategies that you can implement within your school tomorrow.

Some of the other amazing keynotes and presenters include: Baruti Kafele, Principal EL, Eric Sheninger, Tom Murray, and Sean McComb. Register now!
